Merry Meet;
I am new around here, and want to say hello to all the members here. I am from Woodbury, NJ, which is maybe 20 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia. I will be finishing harvesting all of my herbs from my organic garden. I grew sage, catnip, lemon balm, peppermint, rosemary, thyme, parsley, calendula, and dill and chamomile which I already harvested. It has been a bountiful harvest, and I am very thankful.
The Goddess will pull you away and put you on other paths to open your eyes any way she can get your attention. I came down with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2006, lost my job of 8 1/2 with the Electric Company due to sick time policy, despite the fact i was on sick leave. (Another one of Bush's business friendly changes to work laws.) This left me with plenty of time on my hands to study more about the Goddess and learn the things I was missing from my alleged teacher, who managed to become too busy to come teach me at my home when I was unable to drive to hers. After I began to walk again, I started a group in February called the Friends of Gaia, where i could share all the new things i learned with others. If there is anyone around southwestern NJ/Philadelphia you are welcome to come check out the group. http://friendsofgaias.covenspace.com.
Thanks everyone, and I hope to meet some new people with similar interests to exchange ideas, share and just chat.
Blessed be,
Gaia's Pythia (Ann)
